Simon, based on your recommendation I had a drink here 'Pre-Koffmann' on Thursday evening. Charles Vexenat served me, and made me fantastic drink based on what on my spirit preferences. It really is a great place, and the pork scratching with apple sauce bar snacks are bloody nice as well.

I love hiding away in bars, especially one as good as Hix- just round the corner from the swirling hordes at Piccadilly Circus. With Nick Strangeways cocktails it really is a sanctuary.
I went their twice yesterday, sorry to have missed you Simon.

London have become crowded with bars. Nothing new about it same formula and all the lavishness.

I just wonder why people love to hide in bars. It becomes a sanctuary to most, I would prefer a restaurant than bars when all people do is get drank, its aan unhealthy recreational place..
